2. Create Rankings 100% free of charge!
IT´S ALL ABOUT RANKINGS! In no time you can create your own ranking that can be easily displayed on your website. With RankedIn anyone can create very sophisticated rankings with only a few clicks. What really makes things easier when it comes to elaborate rankings is our capable software that will help you develop any kind of sporting event.
RankedIn is the only system in the world that offers this kind of advanced online sport event software. Just consider it as a one stop shop where each event or practice can count for your own ranking.
Each ranking is fully adjustable as well, since not every organization uses the same kind of ranking formulas, bonuses or level system. The software is versatile and easily suitable from local club/company/friend groups to even national sport federations.
As the ranking owner, you will be the one that decides if the ranking will be “open, closed or with approval”. If you choose “open”, it will mean that you can be challenged by anyone and the match or event will be recorded in your rankings.
If you choose “with approval”, you will have to approve before a match or event counts for your ranking. Now, if you choose “closed”, then you will be the only one that can organize events for this ranking.
Please notice that you can show your event or ranking(s) very easy on your own website, using your own corporate colors as well.
*The ranking settings can be fully adjusted by the ranking owner. Please only touch these settings if you have some experience with rankings and understand what it implies. The default settings are tested and work fine in most cases.
Here’s how the ranking works:
Basically the calculation of the ranking consists of 2 parts; match points and bonus points.
Formula: coef1 * e^(coef2 * (winner-points - loser-points + coef3)) + coef4
This is a complex formula and the default settings means that you gain more match points by winning from a higher ranked player than playing against lower ranked players.
Bonus Points: The bonus points you can win also depending on 2 factors: the level of the event and the type of event.
LEVEL OF THE EVENT: Default settings are on a scale from 1 to 10, the highest level being 10 and the lowest level being 1. The higher the level in the event class, the more bonus points you will gain per event.
TYPE OF EVENT: Default settings favor Tournament and External Club League matches. There you can gain important bonus point. With Club League matches you can maximum win half the points you can earn in tournaments.
There are no bonus points given with Private Challenges (keep in mind that you can still win “a lot” of Match Points with PC).
All ranking and level settings are fully adjustable. See all the default settings per event type here.
3. Create a player profile 100% free of charge!
Register and be challenged or challenge other players, join events or create your own.
It all starts with a quick registration. If you haven't yet created your player profile, you can simply do so by clicking on the "Create Player" link at the right top corner of your screen.
If you already created a player profile, simply edit it by opening the "Create/Edit" screen by opening from your profile main menu and select the edit button "Edit" found at the bottom of the page.
At the "Create/Edit" section, you will have to choose a player name, your date of birth and your gender. The other fields are not mandatory, but it is best advised you have a complete profile. The system needs to know these details, in order to decide on what ranking classes you will be.
The "Pick Location" button will open Google Maps, so you can choose a location best suited to your needs.
When you are ready, just click "Create" button and your player profile will be instantly created.
4. Create Private Challenges, an advanced Ladder system!
If you are eager to find new opponents or would like to give an extra dimension to your practice matches, then this option is definitely for you. In no time, you will be able to find out who plays in your area and invite them for a challenge.
Private Challenges is the modern version of Ladders. Ladders is the most simple ranking system and known to be to "simple", since you just swop places. That is why most clubs prefer Club Leagues or also known as Box Leagues.
Rankedin developed "Private Challenges" which is basically the same idea as Ladders, but with an advanced ranking system. Each Private Challenge (=match) is calculated according to the rankedin ranking system, which can be fully adjusted by the ranking owner (see point 2 for more info). The result is that it will feel more like a race and not just about swopping places. As a ranking owner you decide if also other events will be played for the same ranking (like tournaments or leagues) and then your ladder will be even more interactive!
If something is not clear, just check the information button ("i") that follows each step.
In the first step of creating a Private Challange, you have to find a player you want to challenge. You can filter the player search by choosing, area, club, class, level and name. In this step, you can also choose if you want the match to count for the rankings of an organization. You can choose an already existing ranking or you can create a new one.
In the next step you have to choose the date and time for the challenge.
In the third step you have to choose a location for the challenge. You can enter the place manually or you can find it in Google Maps by clicking "Choose Location".
In the last step you can enter challenge text and can choose whether or not to use extended scores like games, points, etc.
After that, your challenge will be created and your opponent should confirm it. He can also change the date and send it back to you or he can reject it. You can check your challenges by clicking "My Matches" button, placed in the top right corner of the layout.
P.S. You can also challenge anybody directly on any ranking by clicking on the player’s name.
5. Create Club Leagues 100% free of charge!
This option is also called box leagues and is a great way to stimulate activity in your club and get to know new players. Players will be placed in boxes/pools of x-amount of players, often 4-5 players per box/pool. All players in one box/pool play against each other in a certain period of time, a month for example. Or they can be played on a fixed day. If played on a fixed day then all matches will be played on that particulair day (great way to create good atmosphere in your club).
Once all the matches in a box/pool are played the winner(s) will move one box/pool up and the loser(s) will move one box/pool down in the next round of this club league. So the players (or you) fill out all the results and you as the event initiator only have to click on the button "play next round". Then automatically all the settings of the first round of your club league will be copied and all players of the first round will be informed automatically that they can sign in for the new round. If some players do not join this new round then they will move one or two places down (up to you) in the third round.
Club Leagues are immense populair in racquet sports, since it is a "fair", social and fun system compared to for example Ladders. By the way, Rankdin offers something similair as the old fashioned Ladders, but it is a more precise system (see point 4 "Create Private Challengesf).
Create your club, promote it on social media and your club and the league will be basically run by the players. Motivate them to write reports and add media to your club league, so your club news will be updated automatically as well.
6. Create Tournaments 100% free of charge
With RankedIn you can organize any kind of tournament effortlessly and efficiently. Simply create a tournament by clicking "Create Tournament" from the main layout drop-down "Tournaments".
You will need to fill out the tournament details like name, location, start date, payment details, etc. If you´re unsure about something, just check the information button ("i") that follows each step. Our goal is to make it as simple for you as possible.
When you click “create”, your tournament´s online signing in form will be created, and the selected players will be able to sign in . You´ll be transferred to the "Image and Posters" screen where you can upload your club/sponsor logos. In one click you can create a great looking poster including your club/sponsor logos and place it wherever you see fit. In order for your tournament to show in the calendar, you have to add classes to the tournament. Then players can sign in by clicking on your calendar event that will be available until you decide to close the signing in.
After you close the signing in form, you can seed the signed in players (or let the system do this), decide the number of courts which will be available for your tournament, on what days they will be available and other details. Again, behind each item that needs to be filled out, are information buttons, so you will know exactly what to do.
The next step will be to choose the type of draw per class, so you can generate matches and after that- the players can start playing. All type of draws are allowed, so qualifications, round-robins, eliminations, triple round elimination, double round elimination, monrad and even more are available. Walk-over and Bye options are there as well. If any of this sounds too complicated for you, have no worries, everything is thoroughly explained, just click on the “i” button and you´ll get an easy to understand explanation! The draws are automatically created based on amount of courts available, time per day, players, draws, breaks between matches, etc. All you need to do is to decide on these options and just left click a button and your tournament will be instantly organized.
It gets even better, since the players are running your tournament by filling out the match results and get automatically updated about their next match details. You as the tournament initiator can also fill out the results if necessary. Digital referee sheets and scoreboards are available per match, so you run a paperless tournament! Just in time to save a tree…
Also, take into consideration that you can show your event, the calendar, any news or ranking(s) very easily on your own website, using your own corporate colors.
7. Create a Club 100% free of charge
Creating a club can save you a lot of time if you are the one that organizes events for your sport club, company or group of friends. It can also create a lot more activity and interest as well.
Organizing events for your club is always time consuming, especially if we talk about medium or large sporting events. Also, when it comes to managing rankings, it a bit like torture.
Clubs/companies want to stimulate internal activity and most of them organize only a few tournaments and an internal league per season.
With RankedIn, you create club rankings in no time, without need to smash your head against the wall. All ranking settings are fully adjustable, offering you a healthy variety of choices.
After you have registered your club, you and your club members can organize tournaments, leagues and private challenges that will all count for your club ranking. Your club rankings will be updated automatically every Monday.
Simply tell your members about the possibilities that RankedIn offers, and start organizing events that will be basically run by THEM.
At the same time your rankings, news, calendar and media will be automatically uploaded on your own website! See “third party integration” on how to easily achieve this.
Also, please notice that you can show your event, calendar, news or rankings very easily on your own website, using your own corporate colors. Again, see “third party integration” found at the right top corner or the tab Promote called that appears in each event or ranking.
*The settings per ranking can be fully adjusted by the ranking owner. Please only touch these settings if you have some experience with rankings and understand what it is all about. The default settings are tested and work fine in most cases.

The last option gives you the advantage that you can decide in detail what you want to show, the colors, the sizes, and other interesting details. See 3rd part integration for more information.
The same counts for the calendar and news. Just decide what kind of news or calendar you would like to show on your website by filtering location, name, club, etc. and only for example your clubs news and calendar will be shown.
Now your rankings, calendar and news will be automatically updated by your players, so it is always up to date:)
